Ramena has practised law in Australia for over 20 years. Ramena graduated with Honours in Law and served as tipstaff to former Supreme Court of NSW Justice George Palmer AO KC.
Ramena was admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 2002. She specialised in estate litigation at Teece Hodgson & Ward (Teece), commercial & intellectual property litigation and crime at Henry Davis York and commercial, productliability & consumer law & insolvency law at Deacons.
Admitted to the NSW Bar in 2008, Ramena read on 8 Wentworth. In 2009, Ramena joined 13 Wentworth Selborne Chambers as a member, having read with Michael Meek (now Meek J).
Ramena practices in the Equity Division of the Supreme Court and is a specialist in succession law. Ramena ‘brings to the table’ expertise in several areas of law as they affect estates or trusts in Australia or worldwide. Ramena is regularly listed in the Doyle's Guide as Recommended Junior Counsel in Wills & Estates in New South Wales and Australia.
In 2015 Ramena presented for STEP Australia in the Banco Court on Re RB.
In 2016 Ramena was nominated “Woman Barrister of the Year” (NSW Women Lawyers’ Association).
Ramena is an accredited mediator and available to mediate disputes.
